Beth Morris LMSW, MPACounselor
Beth has been contributing in the field of social work for over 20 years. In that time she has worked in numerous capacities and with many wonderful people. Prior to working at MSU, she completed 14 years in School Social Work and brings experience with Preschool-12th grade aged youth. She graduated from MSU with an undergraduate degree in both political science and psychology. She completed her M.S.W. from the University of Michigan as well as another Master’s in Public Administration from Eastern Michigan University. She has numerous areas of interest and expertise. Her clinical experience focuses on self-injury, suicidal ideation, suicide prevention, grief & loss, trauma response, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and crisis management. For the past few years she has had the opportunity to use her MPA degree to work in program evaluation and data collection/analysis through an independent contractor.
Beth’s greatest joy is being a mother to her daughter and an aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoys reading, going for walks or watching local sports teams. There is rarely a day that goes by without laughing at her zany boxer and hilarious pug.
