Dr. Beth Alexander
Beth Alexander, M.D., M.S. is a
professor in the Department of Family Practice in the College of Human Medicine at
MSU, and she provides administrative supervision and support to the MSU EAP. She
came to MSU from the University of Kansas, where she served on the faculty.
Dr. Alexander received her M.D. degree from the University of Kansas. In addition to her
background in medicine, she also has a degree in counseling psychology. Her current
administrative role is as University Physician, chief health officer for MSU. She also
has a part-time medical practice and teaching responsibilities. Her academic writing has
primarily focused on adolescent healthcare, domestic violence and human sexuality. Her
avocational interests include competitive tennis, rose gardening, hiking, music and rock
carving.
